Meet Reuben!

The reason for Pistachio Llama. Well sort of. Reuben is more like the cherry on the cake that pushed our time-stretched founder to finally launch Pistachio Llama, after many years of contemplating and sitting on the idea.
Reuben was adopted from RSPCA (Newcastle).
One of the reasons why Pistachio Llama donates 5% of each sale to animal shelters (a new shelter every month).

Baby Reuben had a tough start to life. Unfortunately, we will never know what exactly unfolded during Reuben's first few days and weeks of life that led him to end up at a shelter. 
When the pair first met, Reuben was underweight - ribs showing, and a little unsure of what was happening. It took time for him to gain trust especially in getting out of the car.  
However, he never lost his cheeky sass!

This Whippet x Kelpie was brought home under the impression of being nine months old when in fact he was most likely around four-months-old and kept growing and growing! Something which became clear about six months later when Reuben's growth spurt was not coming to an end.
About 2 years have now gone by since the pair met, and you could say that the chance encounter changed both of their lives. For the better.
